Of the remains the most interesting one is the one that belongs to Captain Eudemos who was mariner form Olympos.
On the tomb there is relief of a ship and poem which starts with the line “The ship entered its last port and anchored never to leave again” must be read in its entirety by all visitors. Also the perpetual fire that burns at Yanartaş at Çıralı is also a “must see” sight. |

In Greek mythology the mount of Olympos is the home of the Gods. Therefore there approximately twenty mountains in Anatolia and Greece that have been named Olympos. The antique name of the Tahtalı mountain (2374 m) within the 'Olympos-Beydağ National Park’ was Olympos in antique times. The Tahtalı Mountain although is not one of the highest mountains in Turkey still has an imposing look which impresses the onlookers, due to sudden rise from the shores of the Mediterranean.

in Patara is the Roman Victory Column built towards the end of the 1st century A.D. also the Byzantine Basilica and the Corinthian style temple are other monuments of interest.
